Spring Drama - Narnia
Submitted by Rhema on April 23, 2007 - 1:04pm.Tags:
event details:
Based on the classic "Chronicles of Narnia" series of books by C.S. Lewis, The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe is the story of four English children who are sent away from London to live in the country for safety during WWII. While staying at "an exciting, old mansion," they walk through a wardrobe and enter the magical world of Narnia. There, they encounter fauns and centaurs, talking beavers, and an evil white witch, among other fascinating creatures. Rising above it all is the triumphant lion, Aslan, who changes Narnia forever. This is a "heroic tale of love, faith, courage, and giving; the life and death struggle for control of Narnia and the grandeur of the triumph of good over evil which has enthralled audiences of all ages." It was recently released as a motion picture by Disney. read more »
