Two sisters were united in marriage a little more than three months apart at the same church.

Danielle Santangelo and Patrick Violette were united in marriage on May 12, 2007, and Rachel Santangelo and Eric Peterson were married on Aug. 25 at St. Rita's Catholic Church in Solon, Ohio.

The brides are the daughters of Rick and Maria (Graziani) Santangelo of Solon, Ohio, and granddaughters of Grace Graziani, a 55-year Coraopolis resident.

Danielle wore a strapless, diamond white princess style silk gown with distinctive empire waist.

Classic pearl and crystals adorned the bodice with silver threads throughout the gown and along the hem and cathedral length train.

The bride is a Solon High School graduate.

She has a bachelor's degree in athletic training from Duquesne University and a master's degree in exercise and sports science from University of North Carolina. She works as a certified trainer at Vanderbilt Sports Medicine in Nashville, Tenn.

Her new husband is the son of Greg and Mary Ann Violette of South Bend, Ind., and a graduate of Penn High School.

He has a bachelor's degree in athletic training from Manchester College and a master's degree in exercise and movement science from University of Oregon.

He works as a certified athletic trainer at Vanderbilt Sports Medicine.

The couple took a honeymoon trip to Europe. They live in Nashville, Tenn.

Rachel wore an old-world inspired, strapless diamond white gown adorned with alencon lace. The gown was accented with Swarovski crystals and pearls throughout the hour glass silhouette and scalloped train.

The bride, a graduate of Solon High School, received a bachelor's degree in business from Miami University. She works with Nestle USA in Solon.

Her groom, son of Greg and Pat Peterson of Hudson, Ohio, is a graduate of Hudson High School. He has a bachelor's degree in zoology from Miami University and a doctor of medicine degree from University of Cinncinnati.

He works as a physician of internal medicine at University Hospitals-Case Medical Center.

The couple took a honeymoon trip to Riviera Maya in Mexico. They live in South Euclid, Ohio.
