The 2007 Festival of Trees, will be held the weekends of November 22nd (Thanksgiving Night) through Sunday, November 25th, and Friday, November 30th through Sunday, December 2rd. The Annual Tree/Wreath Benefit Auction will be held on Friday, December 7th, 2007.

This year's theme is " I Believe ". The festival, this year, is dedicated to the memory of our good friend, Fred Smith, for whom, the festival was a passion and labor of love.

If you believe in Christmas, Santa or just love looking at some of the area's most gorgeous Christmas trees, come on down and share our joy and excitement.

The Festival of Trees is an annual event, which is held in doors at the Lodge in Brady's Run Park. Where, the Lodge, is magically transformed into a snow-laden, Winter Wonderland with it's 50 plus beautifully and uniquely decorated artificial trees and wreaths. The warm atmosphere makes it the perfect place to experience a holiday treat that will bring you back year after year.

In addition, there are trains, Candy Cane Lane Gift Shop, loaded with affordable gifts and trinkets, Snack Bar, Children's Craft Corner, Baskets and Raffles, and of course, the jolly old man himself, Santa.

A special treat for the kids is the Breakfast with Santa which will be held on Saturday, November 24th. To make reservations and for more information please call 724-891-5842.

BENEFIT CHRISTMAS TREE AND WREATH AUCTION

The Benefit Christmas Tree and Wreath Auction will be held Friday, December 7th, 2007. Where all of the trees (fully decorated), and wreaths will be auctioned off. This year we will also be holding a Silent Auction of Sports memorabilia. the night of the Auction only.

Doors Open at 6:00 p.m. Raffles drawn at 6:30 p.m. Bidding begins at 7:00 p.m. No Admission for Auction - Donations Welcome

Auctioneer Sherm Hostetter will be joined by local entertainer Rudy Zetz of 4th and Main Band as hosts of the Grand Finale Auction. Rudy and Sherm will be teaming up to bring a new dimension to the evening’s charitable fund raising event.

In addition. there will be the special appearance of Robin Cole, former Steeler line backer and all pro.

Robin will sign Steelers’ photos and mini helmets that will be available for a contribution towards the Festival’s fund raising goal for 2007. Robin’s Super Bowl 13 and 14 rings will be on display.

There will also be numerous Steeler, Penguin, and other sports memorabilia available as part of the newly added Silent Auction. Items signed by current and past Steelers include Ben Roethisberger , Troy Polamau, Willie Parker, Terry Bradshaw, Jack Lambert, Lynn Swann, Rod Woodson, Hines Ward, and Coaches Mike Tomlin and Bill Cowher. Also there will be items signed by Brett Favre and LaDainian Tomlinson. All Silent Auction items are generously provided by Ross Sports Limited, Beaver, PA.

The Festival of Trees is a family event held to benefit the children involved with Beaver County Children and Youth Services. Proceeds are used to purchase school shoes, winter coats, summer camp outings, eyeglasses, smoke detectors and scholarships to graduating seniors entering the field of Human Services or children involved with the agency continuing the education.
