Moon sets July 4 activities

Jimmy Wayne, national country recording artist, will be headlining Moon Township's Fourth of July extravaganza.

Activities will begin at 4 p.m at the ARL Amphitheater in Moon Park.

The day's activities will include inflatables for the kids, The West Hills Symphony, Arena's School of Dance, Jamie Bruno (singer songwriter), Bryan Cole (Moon native - Nashville artist), Dave Pahanish (singer songwriter, formerly of The Gathering Field), Brooke Annibale (Moon native - singer songwriter), Sarah Marince (Moon native - country artist) and Zambelli fireworks.

Marince's second pressing of her CD, "Somebody Like You," is now available, and her current single, "Big Time," is getting regional airplay and has reached No. 73 on Mediabase charts.

Joe DeNardo will be grand marshall for the event and Moon Township Giant Eagle is giving away a $500 GetGo Gas Card that day. No purchase is necessary.
