Architects of the planned Moon Area High School envision the three-story building off University Boulevard as a "strong community center and strong center for the district."
But they and district officials have not figured out a cost, the Pittsburgh Trib reports.

How can this be? It appears that there is not enough money now to complete the "Community Center" much less when the actual figures come in. How can there possibly be $$$ left for the renovation of the existing high school into a middle school? I'm sure families will be flocking to buy homes in Moon so that their 5th-8th graders can spend their days in a moldy building not fit for high school students (don't forget the sky high taxes). The township already has community areas in the local parks, library and municipal building. Moon Twp does not need another country club.
